Frame sold separately. The lightweight 18" diameter x 96" long nylon windsock is the standard FAA aviation size windsock. It is the preferred size for use on airport runways, airstrips, hospital helipads, chemical plants and oil rigs. Our windsocks are handmade in the USA to FAA specifications using the highest quality materials available. The throat and tail of the 18" windsock is reinforced with a triple hemmed band of white cotton duck fabric for additional durability. windsocks are sewn with UV resistant, bonded, polyester thread for enhanced durability. All windsocks are fitted with weather resistant #2 brass grommets for easy attachment to the frame. This windsock is fabricated from water resistant, high density polyurethane coated nylon fabric.
