This an improved version of the transfer case shifter linkage drop bracket sold by other manufacturers. It is used to lower the linkage when a lift or transfer case drop is installed to allow the transfer case shifter its full range of motion again. If you lifted your Jeep and now can't shift into 4-LO, this is what you need. It improves on past designs by fixing what others got wrong. Countersunk hex screws are used for the top bolts rather than hex heads, that will interfere with the linkage. It is also 1/8" thick steel rather than 14 Ga. sheet metal like others so it won't bend over time. The bracket is powder coated satin black for a durable finish. The hardware is stainless. Compatible with: 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ's, 84-01 Jeep Cherokee XJ's, 93-98 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ's. DOES NOT FIT YJ.
